The coots at my local pond have had babies! I feed them pellets most days. This is a lovely photo of the parent feeding the baby. Coot babies start off with red and yellow fluffy heads, they are so cute.

Ananka, I've never seen coots. Are they ducks? No idea who they are.
ReplyDeleteHi Irina, no they are birds not ducks. But they do act like ducks living in ponds. They are very lovely creatures :-D
