Black Beetle

 

This black beetle has wings and sadly missing part of its right front leg. It seemed to be okay though, and flew away after I took the photo.

A Burn

 

Isn't this a lovely view! It is what we would call in Scotland a Burn. Just a like a little stream or little river.

Green Dock Beetle

 

Here we have a Green Dock Beetle that is heavily pregnant. Isn't she lovely. I like her iridescent colours.

Yet Another Bee!

We love the bees and I was speaking with this one. It was very friendly and nice!

A Friendly Snail

 

We love snails and saw this huge one! There are quite a few of them here in Scotland.

Green Leaf Weevil

 

2 Green Leaf Weevils mating. Let's hope for lots of babies as sadly a lot of insects are in decline in Scotland.

Male Chaffinch

 

Feeding the birds again and we saw this male Chaffinch. Isn't he nice :-)

Blue Damselfly

 

This is a Blue Damselfly. They are often seen near ponds or other bodies of water. Damselflies come in different colours and I will post other colours soon. The pond we visit has lots of different insects.

Another Bee

 

 

This is a lovely buzzing bumblebee. There are more and more about now which is good to see :-)

Squirrel

 

We feed the birds on this tree stump and a squirrel appeared to eat the seeds.

Apple Tree Flower

 

I saw this and thought it was so pretty. I am sure it is the flower from an apple tree.

Jethro

 

This is the wonderful Jethro. He is the boss of our house!

Feeding the Blue Tits

 

We often feed the birds when we are out walking and these 2 Blue Tits were hungry and ate the seeds we put down.

Wild Garlic

 

This is wild garlic, there is quite a lot of it growing in my area.

Buzzing Bee

 

Can you spot the bee in this flower? I love bumblebees so much :-D

More Mushrooms

More mushrooms on a tree stump. Not sure what these ones are called? Had a look but couldn't find anything!

Butterfly

 

This a lovely butterfly on a dandelion. I think it is a Pieris type butterfly but not sure?

Face in the Wood

 

We found this interesting branch or part of a tree. Looks like a face with its hand up holding its ears I think! Isn't nature wonderful!

Bluebells

 

At the moment there are millions of Bluebells in Scotland. They are very pretty and we like this purple colour!

What A Lovely Sky

 

A lovely sky! And some pretty trees too.

Update

Sorry I haven't been about! Life huh. Nothing bad has happened to me and all is good here. I will hopefully be back regularly now!
